1973INAPAL, SA was founded in 1973 with the aim of producing components for the automotive industry, in particular metal bumpers.
1980: With the installation of the Renault Project in Portugal in the early ’80s, the company converted its production lines, providing its unit stamping capacity and technology for the manufacture of Valve Covers to the factory in Cacia.
At the same time, INAPAL invests in a new technological area, for the manufacture of bumpers and side shields in composite materials.
Subsequently, the company is based on a group concept, separating its activities (metal and plastics) into legally independent companies, which originated the creation of INAPAL Metal SA and INAPAL Plásticos SA.
1999: Every day, we produce thousands of parts on our presses, using transfer or progressive processes, with the possibility of also including nut and bolt riveting processes.
To be able to respond to the requests of our customers, INAPAL Metal has a variety of presses with different dimensions and tonnages, providing our customers with small, medium-size parts as well as the stamping of medium / large size parts.
Our presses range from 200 to 2200 Tons, through progressive or Transfer processes, covering a wide range of materials with thicknesses up to 4.5 mm, including High Strength Steels.
